Replacer for conventional lighting: Mostly a one-on-one replacement
Decreases energy usage: 1W LED = 8W conventional lighting
Exceptionally long lifetime expectancy: A LUUMS LED has a lifetime expectancy of 50.000 hours, a CFL about 8.000 hours and a incandescent light approximately 1.000 hours.
Less replacements: In the total lifetime of a LED a conventional light has to be replaced often.
CO2-reduction: A LED system is far more energy efficient compared to traditional lighting. This is why LED systems ensure a CO2 reduction.
Mercury free: CFL's contain the toxic mercury, when a CFL breaks it's recommended to open all doors and windows.
